If you’d like to contribute…

…please know how much Vaunt appreciates all queries and desires to work with us—we have the greatest respect for all models, photographers, stylists, makeup artists, designers and all other creatives who devote their time and energy to these endeavors. However, if you do not hear back from us within two weeks, please understand that we have decided that your proposal did not meet our needs at that time.

Vaunt considers queries from photographers who believe they have shot, or can shoot, a model or group of models that fit our style. All photo shoots must be exclusive to Vaunt, meaning that if they have appeared anywhere previously, including on social media, they will not be considered.

When submitting a photo shoot, please send enough examples of all looks for us to consider them effectively, as well as a credit list for all professionals, models, clothing and accessories involved in the shoot. If you are submitting a proposal for a shoot idea, please send a detailed explanation of the concept, and if you have a particular model or particular models in mind, please include numerous photos of each. Regardless, you should include a cover letter, copy of your resume and any other pertinent information in your email.

If we approve your shoot and it is executed, please send us unedited images, as we will choose the ones we want and then ask you to edit only those. This saves everyone time and energy and moves things along more rapidly.

Vaunt is always looking for beautiful models of all genders. We particularly are interested in androgynous/feminine males, feminine transgender and cisgender females, and androgynous females. Regardless of gender, we prefer natural beauty and both conventional and nonconventional looks and body types. Please do not send us photos of yourself heavily made up or if you are a masculine male. There may be times in the future when we are looking for those specific types of models, but we will place an ad on this site specifying that at that time.

Vaunt is also always on the lookout for writers to contribute unpublished, and in rare cases, published stories, interviews and other texts to our monthly issues. Please include a cover letter, resume and examples of your work in your email and keep in mind that your experience, and story pitches, should be in sync with the Vaunt aesthetic.

Thank so much, and we love you all.

Warm regards,

The Vaunt Staff

Acrush to Remember

When is the formation of a boy band featuring impossibly cute, perfectly coiffed and impeccably dressed young stars wooing the young girls who come to see them particularly notable? When those males are actually female.
